很偶然的，听到了damien rice的9crimes，不得不说我在一瞬间被掠去了心神。有一些歌，实在不由自主间哼出来的，带着内心最真挚的感情，或是一时迸发的激情，有一个理由，写下一首意外的歌，这如大米所作所说accidental song，而不是像一些歌星，为了唱一些歌努力去找感情。而是像找到了契合口，忧伤的，无奈的，放手的，安静的，深情的，狂热的，一切都是那么的到位，来得那么顺畅，也许听者不会哭，因为听不懂他压抑的感情，可是
那么选几首我最喜欢的说一说吧
歌词最撼我心的，accidental babies，说实话，每一首歌都有幻象，这首歌的像，苍白如一张未落笔的信纸。

在豆瓣上乱逛的时候，看到Damien Rice的《0》。当时只觉得这张CD封面好看，素白纸面和简笔画小人，再加上印象里爱尔兰出来的音乐人均水准上乘，就收在想听的音乐中，一直没有去动。
　　前几天情绪低落，恰好在电骡上下了《0》，顺势拉进Foobar听听。
　　发现好音乐，需要的不仅是敏感度和鉴赏水平，有时还需要恰当的时间和心情。在那么一个瞬间，Damien Rice温柔的声音覆盖了我的心。
　　《0》是Damien Rice发行于2003年的首张个人乐队专辑。翻看Damien Rice的生平，会发现他其实是摇滚起家，但在这张专辑里，你听到是空心吉他和弦，间或出现的低沉而略带华丽的大提琴声来自大提琴手Vyvienne Long，除了Damien Rice外，女声Lisa Hannigan的时而主唱时而和音也十分打动人心。
　　作为Damien Rice的首张个人乐队专辑，《0》可以说是接近于完美的。其中《The Blower's Daughter》是电影《Closer》（中译《偷心》）的片头结尾插曲，是首非常感人的作品。
　　而在整张《0》里，值得一听的绝不只这一首歌，这是一张忧伤而温柔的专辑，它能将你的心梳洗干净。

　　简单的和弦，略显懒散和无奈的声音，大提琴的插入。Damien Rice的深情男人形象表露无疑。

　　What I really need is what makes me bleed.混着lisa的低吟浅唱，Damien这样说。

　　电影《Closer》的主题曲。没有看过这部电影，听这张专辑的时候特地去查了一下，是个现代都市的四角恋故事。这部电影的宣传语中有这样的一句：

　　Those who love at first sight are traitors at every glance.
　　如果你相信一见钟情，就不要奢望天长地久。
　　这首歌已经出名的难以做出新鲜评论，那么直接贴喜爱的歌词：

　　没有详细地看歌词，只能说感受，几个吉他音和讲述一般的低沉声音缓缓蔓延，每一个颤音都在心上印下一拍。大提琴划出的流水般的曲调里那声音忧伤沉郁的几乎能将人淹没。

　　Lisa和Damien合唱，前半段Lisa沙哑而轻柔的声音，一次又一次剜出伤痕。

　　典型的Damien式抒情歌曲。I look to my eskimo friend，每一个词都有语音的升扬，然后一下子跌落，When I'm down, down, down.

　　爱尔兰总是盛产音乐诗人的国度，Damien Rice就是其中一位。Damien Rice出生于七十年代早期，绘画与写歌是他青年时期的兴趣，也因此让他有了组团的念头，在"O"的专辑内页有些插画便是 Damien Rice 自己的作品。在 1997 年他组了一个名为 Juniper 的团，前后发行了三张 EP，《The World Is Dead》 和 《Weathermen》 这两首单曲也成为电台热门歌曲，但因为合约问题无法录制完整的专辑，于是在 99 年 Damien Rice 离开乐团前往 Tuscany，并从此在欧州流浪了一年，之后又回到了都柏林，想办法筹钱录了一张 Demo，寄给了制作人兼电影配乐家的 David Arnold，Arnold 很喜欢他的 Demo，于是便安排 Damien Rice 在他的录音室录了第一张 EP ——《The Blower's Daughter》，在 2001 年发行后这张 EP 登上了排行榜前 20 名，也促成了接下来《0》 的发表。
